Alive HQ is a private recording studio facility housed within the Alive Network Entertainment Agency office complex in Staffordshire. The studio is primarily used to record in-house bands and artists but our doors are open to the wider music community.

Our recording studios were built to enable the bands working with the Alive Network agency to achieve the highest quality recordings possible, but at a price that makes sense. Although the studio is based within our office complex, no expense has been spared in the putting together an amazing studio which meets the specific needs of our artists.
Over the past 5 years Alive HQ has developed into a fantastic place to make music. The newly designed air conditioned control room sounds amazing with Dynaudio and Genelec monitoring, a 56 channel Soundcraft Ghost mixing console, Pro Tools 9, and world class boutique pre-amps and outboard from the likes of Neve / API / Manley / Heritage Audio / Avalon / Universal Audio / SSL and more.
Apart from the ears and experience of our in-house engineer/producer Tom 'Bash' Bishop, one of our greatest selling points is the quality of our audio recording chain and outboard racks. Every mic passes through a carefully matched world class pre amp for the ultimate clarity and transient detail. Any EQ or compression is also carefully matched to the instrument and is applied via boutique equipment, ensuring the recording quality is second to none.
Our main live room space is clean, acoustically treated, and can accomodate a full live band (up to six piece) comfortably. The main live room is augmented by a smaller overdubbing room/vocal booth.
