"Alive Network made finding and booking a suitable and affordable artist so easy. The site was well laid out and simple to navigate and the telephone service was friendly and efficient. I was very nervous about booking via an internet site, so it was great to be able to see such a range of artists, and hear samples of their work and then to talk to a real, live, helpful, human being.
The Adelaide Quartet were a great success at our Steampunk themed garden party. Having their beautiful playing of such a wide variety of modern and more classic pieces really brought the whole event together.
I would definitely use Alive Network and book the Adelaide Quartet again , I highly recommend both. Thank you so much for all that you did. "

Adelaide Quartet are a young, professional string quartet of siblings based in London and the South East, who have all studied at The Royal College of Music in London. They provide music for weddings, celebrations and corporate events, drawing on an extensive and wide-ranging repertoire, which can be tailored to suit any occasion.
Because they have played together since childhood, they have developed a particularly warm and well-blended sound, and have many years of live performing experience together throughout the UK, Europe and Australia.
They have won numerous awards in London and Kent, and have taken part in masterclasses under Yonty Solomon, Nigel Clayton, Moray Walsh and Yossi Zivoni. In the summer of 2001 they appeared on the Meridian television series Music in Mansions.
At weddings they can offer music for the ceremony itself, and background music for the drinks reception and throughout the day. They can also provide different combinations of instruments, such as piano quartet, piano and violin/cello duo, or string trio. They are also happy to adapt their programme to include special requests if notified in advance.

In Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante, K364, the opening Andante was a duet for violin and viola. The melodic themes and answering phrases simply overflowed with emotion and depth, which was then skilfully balanced with a sparkling performance of the final Presto.
