ABOUT KAZABIAN...
We are The Number One Kasabian Tribute Act
In June’s edition of NME, Tom Meighan (lead singer of Kasabian) claimed they are the biggest band in the world. Quite a statement! But with Kasabian album sales now nearing five million, headline slots at festivals across the globe, critically acclaimed albums, and with accolades and awards galore (most recent being “Best Act in the World Today” Q Award) perhaps Tom's sentiment is justified.
As a result, we have created the Worlds only tribute to this incredible band.
Our set consists of tracks from the self titled debut album Kasabian, Empire, and the award winning West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum. Depending on the event, we also play B-sides, rarities and special live tracks. Along with many other fans, we eagerly await their fourth studio album and anticipate its release early Summer 2011.
In 2010 we performed on the same bill as TheNoisettes, Ollie Murs and The Holloways, playing venues and events ranging from Art Deco Theatres, University Balls, Village Halls to Weddings, Pubs, Clubs and Festival appearances across the country.
One of the many highlights included playing to 35,000 people at Europe's biggest tribute event - The Liverpool Mathew Street Festival.
We've also featured in some very impressive publications; August’s edition of Q Magazine has an interview with Kasabian in which the band talk about their future plans and then appear to be slightly anxious about our progress...
Later in 2010, in The Observer, celebrated music journalist Paul Morley poses the question “Would Kazabian mislead fans into believing the actual group were playing....” You can find out by booking us.
Kazabian are booking now for 2011, they are available to perform at any event, pubs, clubs, festivals, parties, weddings and corporate events, they can provide PA and Lighting rig for any event, and a DJ on request.
